Anna Paquin

Anna Paquin is a Canadian and New Zealand actress. Paquin, who was raised in Wellington but was born and raised in Winnipeg made her acting d but on screen in The Piano. At age 11, she became one of the youngest Academy Award winner ever for Best Actress. Anna Paquin in full Anna Helene Paquin (born July 24, 1982 in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada) Canadian-born New Zealand actress who as when she was young earned an Academy Award for best supporting actress in her performance as the loquacious and inquisitive daughter of the lead character, played by Holly Hunter in the atmospheric romance The Piano film The Piano (1993). In response to a public audition, aged nineteen, she was Flora McGrath - the daughter of an Scottish muffled pianist during the 19th century. Her family moved to New Zealand to marry an married man who was arranged. In her teens, she moved to the United States. Paquin was played as the child title in Franco Zeffirelli's Jane Eyre in the year 1996. Also, she was a leading part as a lead character in Fly Away Home, a film that was released in the year. Paquin played a minor role in the TV film of 1997 remake of Carson McCullers novel The Member of the Wedding. In Steven Spielberg's Amistad which she was in, she played the queen of Spain in a minor part. The actress played teens on the screen in Hurlyburly (1998) She's All That (1999) and A Walk on the Moon (1999) and played the character of a groupie Polexia Aphrodisa as a character in Almost Famous (2000).
