Paula Patton is an actress and producer well-known for her starring roles in the action movie Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol as well as the dramatic film Precious. She was born into the middle class family located in Los Angeles and had big goals for her future. Her parents were a loving mother who loved to watch films. Paula was a part of co-curricular school activities and was especially interested in the drama. She loved to play act with her classmates and took part in the school's stage productions. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School produced many plays and the actor decided that acting was the career she wanted to pursue. She was enrolled at The University of Southern California in a summer program and thoroughly enjoyed her stint. The program gave her a three month assignment to make documentaries for PBS. After completing the project well, she was able to begin working as an assistant for television documentary production. After completing her assignment and completing her documentary, she began producing films. Even though she loved what she did however, she always wanted being an actor. Her first acting gig came with a small role in Will Smith's romantic comedy Hitch. Since then, she has been in numerous films as well as TV series.
