The 26th of February, 1976 Ky-mani was born to famous Robert Nesta Marley and Jamaican table tennis champ, Anita Belnavis, in Falmouth, Jamaica. East African words for Ky-mani mean adventurous traveler. In the sense of an East African man, his music and tours are an adventure. The Journey, his musical journey started in 1999. The artist was a multifaceted one with a passion for music and was searching for his unique musical style. Many More Roads, a traditional reggae album that was nominated for a Grammy in 2001 proved that Ky-mani was a mature artist.
